I really dislike Bruce now. He could at least have tried to explain his actions to Clark (even if he didn't tell the whole truth) but treating Clark like that is cruel and unfair. Now Clark will feel that he has failed Bruce, that it's all his fault. He's breaking Clark's heart and that is not much better than hurting him physically.

I really feel sorry for Clark. You wrote his pain really well!
