I really liked this episode, too. :) I especially loved how happy Clark was for both Chloe and Lana.
It just shows how really good he is, happy for his friends even though he'll be winked out of existence! Or should be. :)
I was also a big fan of Kara in this ep. Both in the A/U where she was trying so hard (it can't be easy to go against your family) and in the regular verse where she did what she had to against Brainiac. I really felt she was prime Supergirl material, something I haven't felt about any of the post-COIE Comics Supergirls yet.
As an avid fan of pre-COIE Supergirl, I have a fondness for SV's Kara, because as you say, she's a great candidate for being a dynamic Supergirl! :)
To my own surprise, I really, really liked Lois, and the Lois/Clark dynamic in this storyline. It just goes to show that if the writers give the actress something to work with, she can definitely nail the Lois persona.
I've always liked Erica Durance in the part. It amazes me how many times I've read comments that she looks 'old' and was awful in a particular ep when I thought she kicked ass! :)
But I don’t like the comics taking the ‘meteor freak’ thing and bringing that into the mainstream.
