Oooh, this was such a moving chapter! I really admire Steve for coming to grip with the fact that, even though he didn't abuse his power, as a member of the military, he is part of the problem. Does that mean he needs to resign, or instead try to change the institution from within?

Whatever, maintaining the status quo isn't an option anymore for him. Great last line, too! Because learning about Hal just may be what prods him into action.

And yay for Diana for giving him the gift of that one night together. Its good to see that the attraction goes both ways and could grow to be something much more.
