I'm so pleased with your Jonathan, too, not a trace of the extreme reactions some writers like to burden him with.

I know! Too many people make him out to be a villain worthy of Lionel. Sure, some of his reactions on the show could be extreme, but can't people understand why? He's got an alien child who could be snatched away to end up a lab rat if he and Martha aren't careful, not to mention their own safety! Why should he trust Lex right away? Considering Lionel's influence, I wouldn't have, at least not in the beginning.
