1. What inspired the Rainbow's Freedom series? And did you work out the necessary alternate history ahead of time, or has it been more situational as a subject comes up?

2. Is it ever a struggle to write Public Enemies fic knowing the reality of how things went, or does that give you extra inspiration to create an alternate history?
