I was wondering what you thought about Iron Man 3 and its always good to see your thoughts. I definitely agreed with everything you said here, and while my favorite is also the first Iron Man (I never got around to seeing the second), I enjoyed this film too. I thought they'd expand on Extremis, and we might even see Tony use it, since I've heard that's what happens in the comics, but I suppose there's only time for so much.
Agreed! Sometimes they can't cram it all in. :)
It was good that they addressed Tony's PTSD, even if it was settled kind of quickly toward the end.
Yeah, unfortunately that was kind of glossed over.
I did enjoy seeing Tony, Pepper, Happy and Rhodey again. The interactions were smart and crisp Agreed! They were a lot of fun, and I liked all the relationships and how they were portrayed.
I'm glad they all got important stuff to do. :)
The kid, Harley, was a lot better than the usual smart-mouthed Hollywood brats you see on-screen. He and Tony had a good rapport. Agreed. Kids are very hit or miss in movies, because sometimes they try to see them be too smart/funny/cute and it just gets annoying but Harley worked in this film and I enjoyed his interactions with Tony. NGL, I kept secretly wondering if Tony had fathered a kid without knowing. Maybe that's a fanfic in the making, lol.
Heh, very well might be a fanfic in that! But a snarky kid like Harley is okay since he can hold his own with Tony. :)
I'm really excited for the Avengers sequel. I have no doubts that Tony will play an equal part of the film, because like you said, there is no way they'll let a moneymaker like that be a background character.
I'm not sure when that movie is supposed to be released. Probably not for a couple of years yet.
