A Christian Bale blog over on Tumblr ran a whole series of photos from Public Enemies the other day and put me in the mood for the movie again, so this was great timing.

Thank you! I think my next pro novel will be set in the early 20th century. Probably the 1930s since I've already done so much research for it. :)
Oh, and this cracked me up, His wire-rimmed glasses were a good cover. It never ceased to amuse him how just a pair of glasses could hide his identity so well.. And Johnny reading a Lone Ranger book was a fun touch, too!

Heh, I couldn't resist the Clark Kent-style joke. I couldn't refer to him as Superman doesn't debut until 1938, but we all got it. ;) And happily the REAL Lone Ranger had already debuted in 1933 (real, not this weird version in 2013).
