I've been rewatching some episodes, too. The dialogue between Ray and Miss Fraser is always great. :)
The fandom disappeared for awhile, but RCW was revived recently, and like you've observed, DS fans are still out there. Maybe the transfer to AO3 will spark some interest for new fans. :)
