Need Journal Back-Up Advice

I'm so frustrated I could scream!!!

I deleted LJ-sec and did a fresh download and am still having problems.

How do others go about archiving their journals? Do you use other programs? Is LJ-Archive any good? Can it be exported to Insane Journal like LJ-sec does?
What's this .Net thing I'm supposed to have to use LJ-Archive?

I tried a new service, BlogBackupOnline but it only backed up the last 25 entries and no comments. They're supposed to back up the comments! I've put in an e-mail to see if my older entries can be backed up but who knows?

I'm upset and frustrated right now. I hate doing all this computer tech crap because it's always a pain. I hate LJ right now for its stupidity and my creativity has gone down the crapper because I'm stressed. I'm worried I won't be able to back-up my journal at this rate. *furious*

As for Semagic, I looked over there and couldn't figure out what to download! I use Windows XP but I haven't a clue as to what the hell I'm supposed to download over there. Grrr!!! I feel very stupid right now.

I've backed up my stories with other methods but hate the thought of my comments disappearing forever. I want not only a method to transfer my journal here at LJ to IJ, but a way of archiving comments THAT I CAN UNDERSTAND, DAMNNIT!!!

Sorry for the rant but I'm really, really in a bad mood right now.

but i will look into my account later.
i know for sure, that i have successfully backedup all public posts of sv_inquiry (worth over a thousand of entries, and all comments, over 8 MB) in my account, also several hundred entries of sv_vids, again, with comments.

i live in Germany, CET time, do you know, what the time difference with your time zone and mine is?
I could try to walk you through it, if we can get together?

So sorry, hon. LJ-sec is what I used, and I wasn't able to copy my comments, but since my Insane Journal is just a back-up, I decided all I really needed was my fics so I didn't have to post them all again.

I hope you figure things out, eventually.
