2009 DCU Fic/Art Glitter Winter Holidays Challenge!!!
The theme of this Challenge is pretty simple: winter holidays and glitter! That includes Thanksgiving, Yule, Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, New Year’s, and any other holiday you can fit in or create yourself (Festivas, anyone?) ;) !
But the glitter?
Follow the pixie dust! ;)

The requirements for this Challenge? Your creative work (which include fanfic, fanart, icons, manips, wallpapers, fanmixes, etc.) must focus on or use a winter holiday as a backdrop.
‘Holiday setting’ can include Thanksgiving dinner, decorating the Christmas tree, a Yule ritual, New Year’s ball, etc. There’s so many things that can be done with the holidays! Hey, if you want to have your characters sitting around complaining about writing out Christmas cards, go ahead! ;)
The glitter? You must include something glittery, sparkly, shimmering…that means a Christmas tree, a single ornament, New Year’s gowns, jewelry…anything that looks pretty! And shines! Sequins, sparkles, spangles, pixie dust…LOL! I do see Dick Grayson getting some luv from this Challenge! ;)
Your glittery object or effect can be the focus of your work or a secondary item. Indulge your inner sparkle! :)
So, there are your requirements: some kind of holiday setting and sparkly stuff! ;)
Posting dates: November 1, 2009-January 1, 2010
The usual suspects:
Genre: Sure, warm ‘n’ sappy comes to mind, but if your Muses want to do hurt/comfort, drama, etc., go for it! AUs are definitely welcome! Humor, romance, cracky goodness…it’s all good! J
Pairings (or threesomes, etc. ;) ): Slash, femslash, het, gen
Continuity: Comicsverse, movieverse, ‘toonverse, Tvverse (Smallville, Wonder Woman, Batman, The Adventures of Superman, etc.) Cross-overs with other fandoms welcome as long as the DCU gets equal 'screen time'.
Rating: G all the way through to NC-17

Summary: While decorating the Christmas Tree at the Manor, Tim observes a different tradition, and Jason thinks about the ways things have changed for all of them.

Author's Notes: Takes place a while after Come Undone, in my 'verse where Jason is Batman and Tim is his Robin. No canon need apply. Also, I'm not even Jewish, so I don't even know what. I guess my Tim and Jason muses are finally talking to me again. :p
