I'm embarrased to say I forgot about D-Day, but during the Dodgers game, Vin Scully was nice enough to remind me. He actually paused for a moment and said he wanted the kids to know about this day! =)

D-Day remembrances used to be very big deals, but so many of the veterans are gone now. I doubt many will be around for the next big anniversary in 2014.
