History_BigBang Sign-Ups Begin!

Yikes, time is slipping away from me! It's time again for the second round of the history_bigbang. If you have an idea for a historical story or would like to create art or beta, check out the FAQ. This time around there will be options for a Big Bang and Mini Big Bang.

Ohhhhhh, so very tempting. I've been feeling so good today, though, with no deadlines looming over me; my schedule free and clear at last to finish up a bunch of little fics and update/complete some WIPs.

On the other hand, I do love historical fiction, historical mysteries in particular. I even jotted down this completely loopy idea the other day, casting Clark, Bruce, and Dick as something like The Three Musketeers. (A magic spell goes haywire, or something. It's still in the extremely fuzzy stage.)

Check out their schedule! I think author sign-ups go to August 15th, and the whole thing takes about six months, a good long time to get your work ready.

That sounds like an awesome idea, BTW. ;)

It does look like there's plenty of time both to sign up and get something done. Six months is definitely feasible, especially with the mini big bang option. Plus, this year should be considerably less insane than the previous one. It kind of amazes me I managed to get anything written last year.

I will tackle that Three Musketeers thing in some fashion. Although it will probably be more magical than historical. :)

I love the long timeframe of this Big Bang. It really helps lessen the stress! :)
