Both offenses were stymied in the first quarter, but the Patriots' O started to move with Tom in command and scored a TD. :)
Ugh, injury to special-teamer Brandon King. Doesn't look good. Even Coach Belichick came out to see him on the field before he was carted off. :(
Rookie Jakobi Meyers was nervous playing with the first team. Catching balls from Tom Brady is a lot different from catching them from Brian Hoyer or Jarrett Stidham!
Sony Michel looks like he's ready to tear things up this year.
Despite the low score, the Patriots were the dominant team. The Panthers didn't look crisp, but they still have plenty of time to iron things out, though their QB, Cam Newton, left with an ankle sprain.
The Pats' offense had way too many penalties, which will no doubt be addressed by Coach Belichick. The team does look like they are improving, so that's a plus.
Next week is the final preseason game against the Giants and no starters will play. Shocked if they do!
