Summary: Lois is having the worst Valentine's Day in history. Just when she thinks the day is a completely lost cause, things take a surprising turn.
Author's Notes: This is set almost a year and a half after the events of Superman: Aftermath, so... today! No worries if you haven't read Aftermath. Pretty much everything is spelled out in the fic. Clark and Lois are married now, and they share custody of Jason with Richard. They also live in Lois's old apartment, as seen in STM and SII. ^_^ This fic also happens to fit bradygirl_12's 2008 DCU Fic/Art Valentine's Day Challenge, and merfilly's Valentine's Day Flashfic Challenge. And! I just received the chocolate scented bath spa set my hubby ordered for me as a surprise. *wibble* Guess what *I'm* doing later (a la Lois in this fic)? ^_~
Song Notes: I fell in love with "Eternal Flame" when I was ten years old. Sung it to myself endlessly for days at a time. Lyrics can be found here, though every line makes an appearance in the fic.

Note: Basically set in 52 only Kon lived, so that makes it a million times better. Also, the words in italics are song lyrics that go to the song, Heart Station by Utada Hikaru. The basic idea being that with those headphones Kon is not going to hear what people are saying, so he hears the song lyrics instead.
