Author’s Notes: I wrote this the night I came home from seeing the movie! ;) I’m not sure why the first piece I write inspired by Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier is a deathfic, but so it goes. I guess a melancholy mood just struck me during this scene. It is, of course, canon divergence though everything that came before remains the same.
