Week 7: New England Patriots 33, New York Jets 0 (7-0) (Monday, October 22, 2019)
A wild one at the Meadowlands!
The Patriots crushed the Jets. A mic'ed-up Sam Darnold, quarterback for the Jets, said "I'm seeing ghosts out there." That's how good the Patriots defense was, causing Darnold to throw 4 interceptions and lose a fumble.
The offense looked the best it has all season with an impressive opening drive that lasted over 8 minutes and resulted in a TD. All the scores (except 1 field goal) were touchdowns. Tom ws clicking with his wide receivers and returning favorite Ben Watson (tight end). The running game was still paltry, so there's still a lot of work to do!
It was a classic beatdown. The Jets fans abandoned ship before the fourth quarter, leaving mostly Patriots fans.
The Jets and Dolphins lost and the Bills won.
Next week: the Cleveland Browns come to town!
