No Surprise

Am I surprised Trump won? Sadly, no. He walked around free after committing sedition on January 6, 2021 and all the criminal indictments against him. People love a wily crook.

So should Kamala stomp her feet and whine the election was stolen (it probably was)? Should she incite a mob of her supporters next January to storm the Capitol and prevent the official ratifying of the results?

Of course she won't. She isn't a traitor.

The Dems are partly to blame. They were once the party of the blue-collar workers and the common man. Now they come across as the party of intellectual elites. When people vote their pocketbooks, they'll hold their noses. The last four years saw no wage increases and skyrocketing prices of everything, and no end in sight. Probably still will remain the same under the Narcissist, but people don't think Kamala would have done anything, either. The Dems failed to convince them she would.

I'd like to say we'd be rid of His Orangecy in four years, but he and his cronies in Congress will probably figure out a way to let him run for a third term. Hell, let's just make him Dictator-For-Life.

I'm sure the world is collectively shaking its head this morning.
