Oh, what a horrible nightmare!!! O_O Poor Bruce! *hugs him* I can easily see the fear getting to him, though he tries to deny his feelings. It would absolutely destroy him if something were to happen to Clark. :(

It would probably kill him, at least in spirit.

So glad to see Gordon on the side of at least protecting the slaves. Seems like he's got some abolitionist leanings buried under there, and I'm sure Bruce is getting to that point as well. It'll be good for Bruce to have that ally in the Gotham PD when it eventually comes down to it. *cough*

The allies are there to be sure! :) Not only Martha and Kathy who are openly anti-slavery, but Jim Gordon certainly can't be said to approve of the institution.

I know, it's slow coming, but in 'real time', it's only been a few months! :) So things continue to roll out and I'm glad for readers who stick by me! :)
