I really enjoyed your threesome story because I like the evolutionary fics, those that give us insight as to how things come to be the way they are. So, I truly enjoyed watching the progression of Dick wanting, but unsure, to seeing both Bruce and Clark bring him into their relationship.

The menage a trois thing is definitely a great subject for figuring out how it came about. We're so used to two-only in our society that a threesome definitely need to work out the kinks, so to speak. ;)

I think Dick's death would shatter Bruce regardless of their relationship, as well. Dick is such an enormous and intrinsic part of Bruce's character development and definition, so I agree.

In current canon, Bruce loves all his children, but there's something special between him and Dick, no matter how estranged they are.

Like I said, threesomes are usually a tough nut to crack unless one is going for isolation on one character's part, which is why I was so pleased with how you handled the fic prompt of Clark and Bruce waiting for Dick to come of age.

Never let it be said that Superman and Batman don't have patience for things worth waiting for! ;)
