Fortress Of Good Fortune

I'm sorry I've fallen behind on commenting on my favorite story, but I couldn't let this chapter go without expressing how much I loved it. The Dinah/Dick scenes are completely charming. And I loved the re-emergence of Clark's protective instincts.

And I just have to say that this part:

Already on his knees, he blushed slightly as he began to lower himself to kiss Lex’s shoes in the traditional gesture.

Lex enjoyed the sight of Clark on his knees before him, but he stopped the pleasure slave from completing the gesture by a hand on his shoulder.

Sent a chill up my spine, in a good and bad way, it that makes any sense. And it was pretty hot. LOL I know your Lex has been nothing but a friend in this story, but he's still Lex, ya know? And being a SV fan, that Clark/Lex relationship is already planted in my head. So, Lex's attraction to Clark peeking through is kind of thrilling. Even if it is Hands Off, he belongs to Bruce. :)

This whole story is such a masterpiece. I love it.
