Oh, Tommy, we miss ye so!
Amazing how much one player makes a difference, doesn't it? :)
Well, the game sucked. That's all I can say! They had a shot to catch up early in the third quarter and couldn't get it from the one-yard line into the endzone after four freakin' tries!
Matt Cassel just isn't very good, and we're stuck with him. *sighs*
Is it fair to compare him to Tom? Hell, no! Tom is the best player in the NFL, and possibly the best quarterback of all time. And that's not just me talking, but the so-called NFL experts.
But, we're used to excellence, and we ain't gettin' it from Cassel or the rest of the team. Wake up, boys! Tom's gone and you need to buckle down and play the way your talent dictates! *shakes head*
The defense was awful, too, full of holes like Swiss cheese. If Tom were under center, he could mask those deficiencies as he's done in the past.
Hurry up and heal, Tommy, and we'll be waiting for you next year! :)
