I see! – Oh well, I was so upset reading Stark's opinions about Clark’s injury in those previous lines! I was lost in my thoughts and I had a problem to understand this. *Blushes*

No problem! You can take it either way. Maybe Stark did help his friend Edmund. Maybe he just admired the way Edmund got in. I leave it to the reader to decide. :)
