Oh, the touch of him hearing the music still playing behind him and thinking of their waltz together is just heartbreaking. And the mist on his face! Those last details are amazing.

And the parallels between Niagara and Reichenbach make for such a wrenching comparison, oh! *sniffles* I love Holmes being dismissive of the emotions we attach to waterfalls--it's especially painful as foreshadowing, the waterfall of romance and the waterfall of death...
