Week 4: Kansas City Chiefs 26, New England Patriots 10 (2-2) (Monday, October 5, 2020)
The game was moved from Sunday to Monday because our QB tested positive. Now our best defensive player, Stephon Gilmore, has tested positive! *sigh* We'll see what happens with this Sunday's game versus Denver.
The Patriots had to fly out the day of the game and play that night without their starting quarterback. The defense held the Chiefs to 13 points in 3 quarters, but they kept making mistakes, especially on the offensive side of the ball. Back-up QB Brian Hoyer made two major mistakes, and 3rd-stringer Jarrett Stidham made 2 INTs (though one was really Julian Edelman's fault).
So it was frustrating, since the Patriots could've pulled off an upset, but it wasn't to be. They dropped to 2-2, two games behind Buffalo. There's a sentence that tells you 2020 is Bizarro World! :)
Tom had a great game, and the Bucs remain at the top of their division. :)
Bills won, and Pats, Dolphins and Jets lost. Next Sunday (maybe!) the Patriots face Denver at Gillette Stadium.
