Embarassingly, I have to admit to lurking around all the time, but I really couldn't hold back on a comment this time. Ohhh! OHHHH I can't wait for the evening lecture O_O I love how realistic Bruce's slow coming around is--for someone so immersed and well socialized in this slaveowning culture, even as comparatively liberal as he might be in some of his mindsets and practices, it just makes so much sense for him to be hesitant and uncomfortable around an abolitionist movement like this. And oh, do I love that he's still there, with as open a mind as he can currently manage.

Part of me is prepped to feel very sorry for how uncomfortable I imagine Bruce is going to be during the pleasure slave lecture, but then the greater part of me knows that it's all for the best ^^

Martha <3 <3 <3 She clearly has much more grace and restraint than I would have, conversing with Bruce. Not that he was anything other than gentlemanly and decent, but what can I say, I'm impatient XD Anyway, I'm on the edge of my seat, anxious to see where this goes next!
