As for Dax, I think he was gentle with Clark and ribald with Bruce because while he believes that a slave should serve his Master sexually, he senses Clark's vulnerability beyond his enslaved status. I'm definitely leaning in the direction of complexity for Dax. :)

Anyway, I love how Bruce is steadily falling, harder and harder for Clark. ^_~ At least he's acknowledged now that it *could* be happening, even if he denies it (to Ollie, anyway).

I'd say the denial is being fueled by the memories of what happened between his parents. Not to mention other social factors, which will be further explored.

Also loved the Amazons exhibit. Poor Diana.... :( The thought of them all being enslaved ad infinitum is just... *shudder*. Not right. At all. But yay, Steve!! :D Why do I get the feeling that the pamphlet he picked up might be for a cruise to Paradise Island? ^_~ That's right, you go get her, Steve! Hmph! :p

It kind of boggled my mind when I realized, they're immortal, and since slaves can't be freed... *shivers*

It was good to see Ollie with Dinah, of course, too! Almost makes me wonder if you plan on making little Melody into this universe's version of someone in the arrow clan. :p

Last point (I swear!): Your Lex is definitely falling into preset parameters. *shiver* I don't like the seeming over-interest he has in enslaving Kryptonians. Why does that make me wonder if he couldn't have had something to do with Clark's enslavement? O_o

I never count Lex out of anything, but he's like Dax: complex, ambiguous, and may surprise you.

Grrr!!! Now you've got me thinking about all the twisted possibilities! Gah!
