It was nice to see Pete again, and his instincts about Lionel are probably right.  I don’t care how much of a ‘Vessel of Jor-El’ Lionel is, I still don’t trust him.

 

Wow, Lex was licking his chops at the end when Kara foolishly asked to live with him.  He’s using the same charm on her that he used on Clark so long ago.  The sad thing is, the charm back then was genuine.  This time it’s pure manipulation, though in his own twisted way, Lex cares for Kara, and still cares for Clark.  Unfortunately, he’s become his father, what he dreaded all along.  Capable of love, but in a twisted, selfish way.  And hurting other people as he goes along.

 

Kryptonite-laced gum?  Kinda lame, folks. I did like Jimmy’s involvement in this story, and his desire to start things up with Chloe again.  I’m sure I’m in the minority on that, but what else is new?  ;)  I am exhausted by Lana and Clark’s off-again, on-again relationship, but Chloe/Jimmy are more delightful than exhausting, at least to me. 

 

I see they prevaricated on the previews for this week.  The previews of Clark in a cage is for next week.  I really wish that networks would give us the previews meant for the proper episode.  It’s lame and weaselly, just like the new owners of LJ.

Lionel is definitely not to be trusted. Considering all that he's hiding from Clark, it's obvious there is still some MB in him.

As for Pete, he annoyed me most of this episode but it was interesting to see him get his feelings out. I'm on Team Clark so I'm just sick of everyone blaming their troubles on him.

I *so* called the Jimmy/Chloe/Pete triangle. I recently made a comment that it would be funny if Jimmy saw Pete give her the rose. LOL!

The Chimmy can be cute. I actually don't mind that ship so you're not in the complete minority. It's definitely better than Clana ... I'm with you there.

Yeah, I thought the previews thing was lame too.

It's not so popular on my flist. A lot of them are Chlarkers. But I liked them in s6. I just don't like it when he's treating Chloe badly and eyeing Kara.

I know all about latching on to unpopular ships. Collie lover here, dear. AND Clois, which people don't seem to like much.

It's not so popular on my flist. A lot of them are Chlarkers. But I liked them in s6. I just don't like it when he's treating Chloe badly and eyeing Kara.

I know sometimes I have an OTP, but in DCU fandom, there's just too many 'ships to ship! ;) So I like to enjoy a whole bunch of them, and if I was a Chlarker, I could be a Chimmy, too. ;)

I can see both, though to me, SV Clois have less romantic chemistry than a good friends type. But, you see, that's why I love fandom so much. While I see their chemistry one way, you see it another. I think it does credit to a fandom when people can respect each other's 'ships and not get all aggravated over them!

LOL! It was never mine to begin with. Fandom was calling him that long before I arrived. I just latched on. ;)
