I added Clark/Bruce/Dick to my choices. For the most part I have trouble reading threesomes. Threesomes rarely end up being fair to all three parties involved, one is always the odd man out, so to speak, in one way or another. So, I usually end up feeling badly for the third wheel. Clark/Bruce/Dick (in the few instances that i have seen it) tends to be Bruce and Clark in a well-established, happy relationship that leaves Dick looking in from the outside.
Balancing threesomes are certainly difficult, Silver! :)
In my Clark/Bruce/Dick story, I did try to give everyone equal time. :) And, in fact, the only reason Bruce and Clark were already established was because of Dick's age. Once he turned eighteen, he was going to become an equal partner!
With my inordinate love for Dick Grayson (easily favoring him over the other two, no offense to either Bruce or Clark), this usually makes me steer clear of said threesome.
You're preaching to the choir about absolute love for our Little Bird! ;)
That said, however, I enjoyed your Clark/Bruce/Dick fic and I will happily read that threesome anytime the fic can be fair and equal to all three men. But, I am also overly sensitive and overly emotional. *heh*
Absolutely! When I write a threesome I'm always interested in the balance. For purposes of conflict there might be an imbalance at first, but generally I go the route of partners trying to figure out where they fit in and ultimately fitting together.
I do have my own theory that even if Clark and Bruce were lovers and Dick was not part of that, that even if he died Bruce would be so shattered that it might destroy his relationship with Clark. It's just something that's stuck in my head: whether Dick is lover or not, his death would send Bruce reeling.
So, ultimately, Dick is extremely important in my fic whether he is part of the threesome or not.
And I've always maintained that it's never been just the World's Finest duo but the World's Finest trio! ;)
