Fic Rec: How Gay Is Superman?

I just read a wonderfully funny Clex story by dm_wyatt. The summary is this: Lois outs Superman in a cover article in the Advocate. Lex, seeing a new opportunity, makes sometimes clumsy moves on the lovable Big Dumb Alien.

It's told with affection and a deft hand at comedy, and the characters all ring true: poor, sweet Clark is so convinced he's too geeky to be loved that he needs a major clue bus; Lois is her abrasive yet amusing self, and Lex is very Lexian here in his plotting and scheming!

Comedy is really tough, and when someone nails it, I appreciate it! You really did a nice job here with the funny situations. Clark under the desk and cracking his head was just one moment that made me giggle. :)

I don't ever think of Clark as a BDA though. I don't know who invented that nickname but I don't think it fits Clark in any way and it's a pity that some people (not you, I know!) use it to dismiss the character.

Oh, I'm not dismissing Clark in the story... You'll have to read it to see. It's just the most clueless I've ever written Clark, but it's played for comedy, not to take away from Clark's awesomeness.
