Oh, I am so happy about how much this story has progressed recently. So, Halloween week in Gotham should be interesting, don't you think?
It will be, and it starts next chapter! :)
The idea of Steve buying Diana never even entered my mind; I didn't think the Amazons were for sale. What I'd like to know, though, is how Diana is avoiding being drugged. Because I'm getting a strong feeling that that's the case.
Steve's a little woozy from the head injury, poor dear. :) The Amazons aren't for sale.
I was as happy as anyone else to see the Carlin schmuck get his, but I couldn't help noticing that, technically, Steve went on to violate the same rule. And there's that fine moral line that Bruce and Clark wrestle with, too: Is it ever possible to have consensual sex with a slave?
Interesting dilemma, isn't it? But Diana did offer herself freely, otherwise I don't think Steve would have given into temptation.
Poor Steve, he's got a lot to think about now. Diana, Hal, the whole question of slavery and his working for the government (and who else could he work for, given his vocation is clearly to be a pilot?). Bet he never thought his life would get this complicated!
He was never happy with slavery, and now he's got an up-and-close personal view at Wayne Manor and on Paradise Island.
I want you to know I'm always reading, even when I don't comment on every chapter. And I'm always impressed! ^_^
