I do share Bruces concern though both men seem to sound so tired.

You know I have to say I love this story because of the vividness of it. You paint an amazing picture giving lush details that allow me to picture the action in my minds eye. The description of dinner settings the room. All very nice!

Thank you! I do like to paint pictures. I know I enjoy reading good description so try to do my best as an author.

I liked seeing how the slaves came together in the kitchen. They all really seem to like each other and Alfred sees them as his family as well his concern for Clark and Dick shows a lot of depth to his character. I know he wouldn't have told them about Clarks condition otherwise. It was nice that they all agreed to step up to the plate for Clark. That after all is what family does for each other.

They're good people. They genuinely like each other, and they know they have to stick together.

Oh my! I LOVED Bruce’s concern and fussing over Clark. How sweet.

I have a bad feeling at the end of this chapter when Bruce asked him to keep an eye on Clark. I’m not sure why. I hope I’m off. Can’t wait for more! This was GREAT!
