Poor Hippolyta! You really make me feel for her here, and her desire to keep her sweet daughter safe and innocent of the cruel world. We know it works out better, but you can really feel for her as you read this.

Why wouldn't she feel that way, considering her history and those of her sister Amazons? She's afraid the same thing could happen to Diana, and she feels that Paradise is the best place for her.

But, Diana's Destiny lies elsewhere. :)
