I loved Clark and Lois getting caught by the General. This show never has enough humor in it these days and I enjoy the moments when we get them.

I truly believe that Lois not supporting Clark was just a shock to his system. More than even Chloe and Oliver, it is Lois who has been unconditionally supporting the Blur these past two years, even when she didn't know it was Clark. For the first time in a while, he's seeing her not immediately jump to his defense and even if it is against her father.

While I thought what Lois said was harsh, it's nice to see them being a realistic couple, who have arguments and in the midst of it, blurt out things that they don't mean to say.

Even while she’s in Washington, that means Clark doesn’t have to deal with her?
What I think Lois meant was that Martha supports Clark's decisions and doesn't constantly test him like the General tests Lois. So he can do things and unless it's wildly crazy and OOC, he won't have to feel like Martha's judging him. *shrugs* Just my two cents.

I love the Lois-Lucy talk! It's good that they got everything out in the open. Like you, I have a sister too and I am very proud of her and happy to have her in my life.

I liked the Ollie-Tess scene, as you know, but I don't think it's going to end well for Tess when they find out about the Lex clone.

Jeez, Ollie, you didn't think out that coming-out thing very well, didja? No privacy anymore! And you're still endangering others' privacy. Just chalk me up as one who firmly believes that superheroes should be allowed to have secret identities.
No, he really didn't. If he had talked to Clark, maybe he would've provided some insight on how it went spectacularly wrong when he was forced to come out back in "Infamous". I'm glad that we're getting to see things going a bit wrong though, even if I still can't figure out how they'll backtrack.

I think everyone has already answered your questions, but I don't believe that he fully changed his mind on the bill, just saw that there are good superheroes out there too. Or one theory I have is that maybe it was just too late, even if he did. I don't think they did a time jump so the bill passed while he was still in Smallville, so he couldn't vocalize any change of heart anyway.
