Big Bang Updates!!! (SuperBat & History) (9/9/11)

I just reached the climax of my story for the superbat_bb! I think a few more chapters will wrap things up unless the boys get really chatty. ;)

I'm also reaching the final chapters of my history_bigbang. I might have two or three more chapters for that.

I need to type up several chapters for both BBs, but progress is being made! I do think I'll be close to 20,000 words for the superbat_bb and will definitely reach the 10,000-word minimum for the history_bigbang. So there's a nanowrimo right there! ;)

Good thing, because I have another project I need to tackle and Halloween stories to write! I think I'll give myself two more weeks to wrap up the current BBs and then if they're not done by then, start the other projects and work in the BBs.

"Where’s The Beef?"

By-The-Sea I: Perfect Day and the sequel, By-The-Sea II: Perfect Evening: Chapter One and By-The-Sea II: Perfect Evening: Chapter Two has personal associations for me, as dining on the wharf in Maine was a frequent occurrence during my childhood. I like to think that I captured both time on the beach and on the wharf with these.

The Better Angels was fun to write with Clark and Bruce as literal angels!

It Happened One Night combines a favorite movie of mine with the 1930s.

I love the entire Heartland series, but this one is especially close to my heart: Heartland VI: “Trick-Or-Treat!” features Clark, Bruce, and Dick as a family, and Halloween! What could be better?

Fairytales! Two of my faves:

Heart’s Desire and Destiny (Seven Days And Nights).

This slavefic, Shattered Soul (I) is good hurt/comfort, but also showcases Bruce’s compassion. If you like it, here’s the sequel, Shattered Soul II: Silent Screams.

And for a turn of the tables with Bruce as the slave, this features his cleverness and loyalty: Sparkling Wine, Sparkling Skin.

I also like comparing and contrasting Bruce and Clark to other couples, and this fic is one of my faves: Precious Jewels. Steve/Diana are the other couple.

This is a deathfic, so if you don’t read those, skip it. It is one of my best pieces and won a WFA in 2009: Golden Light.

If deathfic isn’t your thing, try The Naked Truth: fluff, diplomatic shenanigans, and a jealous Bruce, or American Oddities, the boys on a road trip!
