Clark is probably so relieved he won't be sick anymore, his Kryptonian traits are just icing. Not long ago he thought he was dying, this revelation would mean that much more to him. Happy sigh!

True, he did think he was dying not so long ago. And he was, actually, with the strain on his organs.
