Week 4: Dallas Cowboys 38, New England Patriots 3 (1-3) (Sunday, October 1, 2023)

The Patriots were sneaky. They fooled us into thinking they were in this game as they were tied 3-3 with the Cowboys, but then--DISASTER STRUCK!!! INTs, pick-6s, fumbles, stupidity...you name it, the Patriots suffered it. They were bamboozled by a trick play. They lost key players to injury. BB pulled Mac Jones in the 3rd quarter because the kid just didn't have it. Back-up Bailey Zappe was no better. This was Bill Belichick's worst loss in his football career. Yeesh!

Where to go from here? Heaven knows!

The Pats, Jets and Dolphins lost, and the Bills won.

Miami 3-1

NE 1-3

NYJ 1-3

Next week, the New Orleans Saints come to town.*

We were watching the Niners/Cardinals but man, that was ... something else. I wasn't sure they would win but I thought they could at least be competitive and it very quickly wasn't that. I can't get over the fact that they're so turnover happy on offense! IDK where they go from here either. Losing two key members of the defense for who knows how long doesn't help. :\

The offense is abysmal. The defense is now severely hampered. What a mess!
