Author’s Notes: This fic was written when I was having a pretty bad time of things in RL, and it relaxed me to write this at a leisurely pace, simply enjoying this little world I’d constructed for Steve and Diana and just being happy while I wrote it.

Well, as periodically happens, sometimes a one-shot becomes a series, and Perfect Day has turned into that. I've decided that all my seaside fics will be under the title "By-The-Sea", so I'm going to change the title in my journal and that's why you'll soon see a 'No. 2' being posted. You didn't miss No. 1, just a different title! ;) And "Perfect Day" will remain the subtitle.

I've also decided to do something a little different by not restricting the series to Clark/Bruce. I have ideas for other couples and it looks like the Endless Summer Challenge will get plenty of my entries! :)
