Well, I did it! I finished all 10 requests of the 2008 DCU Snapshot Fic Request Meme. It took me a few weeks longer than I'd hoped, but happily all are completed! :)

Some went beyond the 'snapshot' length I'd envisioned for the prompts, but what the hey? Can't argue with the Muses! :)

I will probably do only one more fic request this year, and that will be for my second LJ anniversary in a few months. I may go the 'give me a pairing and prompt' route, or might try something different. I enjoy mulling over the possibilities! :)

My Muses are going well but I’m interested in sharpening up my short fic skills.

Here’s a little twist: each fic will be a snapshot: no plot, maybe not even dialogue, possibly a mood. ;) They may be as short as a drabble or double drabble, but I never know where my Muses will take me! I may even cross-challenge. ;)

Anyway, give me a pairing/prompt (one or two words, max). I’ll take the first EIGHT. I’m keeping it a short list as I have lots of other fic to write and won’t be doing unlimited (or close to it) prompts ‘til my LJ anniversary in November. :)

Well, the 2008 DCU Mood Ring Fic Request Meme is finally finished! :) I wrote twelve stories in two weeks, and then revised and posted them in between other projects I had going for the last month, but here it is, the end of June and they’re all done! :)

I was very pleased with the variety of pairings I was asked to write, and it was fun to match them up with the different moods. I was also satisfied that I was able to range from drama to comedy to light ‘n’ fluffy to hot sex! ;) So it was a good writing exercise for me to come up with stories to fit around the pairings/moods.
