(AFC Championship Game) New England Patriots 45, Indianapolis Colts 7 (2-0) (Sunday, January 18, 2015)

WE'RE ON TO ARIZONA!!! WHOO HOO!!! *dances* :)

The Pats steamrolled over the Indianapolis Colts in a rain-soaked game at Gillette Stadium. Tom and the offense was crisp, featuring great performances by Julian Edelman, Rob Gronkowski, James Develin and Nate Solder, an O-Lineman who caught his first pass for a touchdown! His fellow offensive linemen celebrated with him in the end zone. It was great stuff! :) Also, every time a Patriot reported in as an eligible receiver, they announced it over the stadium loudspeaker like last week and the crowd cheered. The Colts STILL didn't cover Nate Solder!

LaGarrette Blount ran 30 times for 148 yards and 3 touchdowns. Darrelle Revis and Jamie Collins had interceptions, and Rob Ninkovich was outstanding as linebacker. Brandon Browner, our other cornerback, did a great job, too.

There were trick plays and running the football right down the Colts' throats. The Colts looked as if they had never seen it before but in their last three meetings, the Patriots have done the same thing, so not sure what Coach Chuck Pagano and his staff are looking at during film study.

Andrew Luck is an up-and-comer, but he doesn't have the team around him to really contend yet. He was confused and couldn't get the offense going. Tom ran for yardage (that's usually Luck's thing) and was in complete command of the offense.

Should be an interesting match-up in two weeks. The Seattle Seahawks came from behind to beat the Green Bay Packers and now it's a tale of two Patriots' coaches as Pete Carroll was the coach just after Bill Parcells (The Big Tuna) and right before Bill Belichick in New England. He went to USC, had great success, and then signed on with Seattle and won the Super Bowl last year. Gentlemen, start your storylines! :)

Bill Belichick won his 21st playoff game last night, most in NFL history. Tom's 20 wins are the most for a quarterback. He now has 50 touchdown passes in the playoffs, the most ever for a quarterback. He will be going to his 6th Super Bowl, the most ever appearances by a starting quarterback. His playoff record is 20-8, best ever for a quarterback.

It's a great joy to have Tom and the boys back in the Big Game. We'll have two weeks of fun here in New England and savor every minute! :)

Kinch understood the despair in the raspy voice. He could feel his heart grow heavy as he thought of the major setback in the Allied push toward Berlin and victory. )
