(Preseason) Week 4: New York Giants 31, New England Patriots 29 (3-1) (Thursday, August 29, 2019)
Slow start but then things heated up. Josh Gordon and Demaryius Thomas got some reps at WR and looked good. Some INTs by the Pats and rookie QB Jarrett Stidham looked all right, but made some rookie mistakes, natch. Rookie Gunner Olszewski made some good plays. He's a sparkplug! :) Rookie Keion Crossen making some plays on D. Tom looked pretty on the sidelines. ;)
The Pats' fourth-stringers couldn't hold off the Giants' fourth-stringers. Oh, well. Time for the real games to start!
The Super Bowl winners traditionally kick off the season with a Thursday night game, but the NFL decided to broadcast the Chicago Bears hosting the Green Bay Packers because it's the 100th season, so the Pats get the first Sunday Night Football game to raise their sixth Super Bowl banner. :)
