Time for some Valentine schmoop! ;)
This Challenge will have a much smaller posting window, but it never hurts to get everyone thinking, right?
For this year’s theme of Valentine’s Day, I’d like to use ‘date’, as in your couple(s) (or threesome) are on a date for the holiday. You could use the traditional candy, chocolates, dinner, and dancing, or a non-traditional look at the holiday, or just a PWP (what happens after the date). Morning-after stories/art are good! Or since our heroes are very busy and have all-consuming jobs, maybe they end up in a battle or on a mission for the holiday. Or perhaps your story/art centers around one (or both) of the characters planning a lovely holiday which gets interrupted.
So, as long as ‘date’ is in the picture, you’re good!
The complete Master List is here.
The Usual Suspects:
Genre: Romance is the big genre on Valentine’s Day, but you can combine it with others or just write drama, humor, hurt/comfort, AU, etc.
Pairings (or threesomes, etc. ;) ): Slash, het, gen (this is DCU but if you’d like to write Clex, hey, that fits into the DCU!). Crossovers welcome. Just make sure that the DCU characters get equal ‘screen time’ with your crossover characters.
Rating: G all the way through to NC-17. Any length!
Continuity/‘Verses: Comics, ‘toon, movie, and Smallville (and other TV shows).
Posting dates: January 1-February 14, 2009

This also fits my 2009 DCU Fic/Art Valentine’s Day Challenge.
I’ve collected all my Steve/Diana stories that take place early in their relationship under the title "The Princess And The Pilot". The entire series can be found here.
