Week 9: New England Patriots 27, Miami Dolphins 17 (6-2) (Sunday, November 8, 2009)
Another win! The Patriots are slowly separating themselves from the rest of the division. Divisional wins are so important when it comes to playoff time.
Last week was the Pats' bye week, so that's why no report. :)
Boy, bigmouths never learn. Miami linebacker Joey Porter yapped his mouth about Tom and the Patriots, just giving them more motivational fuel for the fire, and ended up with no sacks, tackles, hurries or even pressures. Mr. Yappity-Yap didn't even face the media after the game. Twit.
The game didn’t start out well with an interception thrown by Tom, but he connected with Randy Moss several times, including for a touchdown and two-point conversion, and Brady-to-Moss is a beautiful thing to see. ;)
The game was close for awhile, Miami successfully using the Wildcat offense several times, but Tom and the Patriots prevailed. :)
Next week, the boys travel to Indy to face the undefeated Colts, and if the Saints win again the next two weeks, that will make two undefeated teams sandwiched around the Jets! If anyone can turn undefeated into defeated, it’s the New England Patriots! :)
