My local church's former deacon has a mission down there, so I'll be attending Mass this weekend and donating to the fund that the parish will be collecting. This is the parish that my parents attended since the day they were married, and my sister and I grew up attending, and my sister was married in. I like the sense of peace I get when I do attend the occasional Mass, and now have a really good reason to go this weekend.
