bradygirl_12Week 14: New England Patriots 36, Chicago Bears 7 (11-2) (Sunday, December 12, 2010)
Neither snow, nor rain, nor dark of night will stop Tom Brady and the Patriots from their appointed rounds on the way to the Super Bowl. ;)
*sniff, sniff* I smell Texas barbeque, my friends, because Dallas is where we might be headed come February!
The winds were wild, the snow was blowing, the temps were bone-chilling, and yet the Patriots continued their swath of destruction through the NFL, leaving behind the scattered teams they’ve beaten in their wake. They put up 33 unanswered points on the vaunted Bears defense in the first half! The offense stalled a little in the second half but still ended up with 3 more points and the defense only gave up one touchdown.
Tom threw 2 touchdowns to Deion Branch and Rob Gronkowski, and Danny Woodhead had another TD. Gary Guyton grabbed a fumble that Devin McCourty created and was off to the races. Shane Graham hit 2 field goals in crazy conditions.
The D made a second pick and the Bears’ Jay Cutler looked pretty awful, but then, so did the entire Bears team except for Devin Hester, kick-off return specialist.
So, another day, another blow-out! ;)
