Here's an oldie but goodie: Pick six of my icons and I'll tell you what they mean to me. :)

OMG. I was JUST commenting on your unbelievable wounded-Superman-being-comforted-by-someone-I-don't-know icon on the I Spy comm. I don't know the others yet, but can I get away with asking about just this one, as I was too - I dunno, shy - to ask about it over there?

Anyway, this icon came from art by rai_daydreamer, who created the illustration, and I wrote a Clark/Bruce story inspired by it, "Until The Yellow Sun Blesses You Again...". :)

The person doing the comforting is Bruce Wayne (Batman). It's a great icon to use for hurt/comfort comments and stories! :)

Here goes!

1: Alexander/Hephaestion is a 'ship of mine for years. I've read Mary Renault's books and I find it a nice icon to use for classical references, and sometimes for Lex, or Clex! :)

2: Classic Coke is one of my favorite drinks, and one of the few sodas I'll drink regular, instead of diet version. While I stick mainly to Diet Coke, when I want to indulge, it's Classic Coke! :) It's a good icon to use for drinks or sometimes as an American symbol. :)

3: Yellow roses are my favorite flower, and go well with many stories and comments I have to make. Pretty flower icons are a must-have! :)

4: I loved this passionate illo of Bruce/Dick and it fits a lot of my stories starring this couple. In the larger version, it shows Dick's legs wrapped around Bruce, and I love the position for him when he's lovin' Bruce! :)

5: My mom used to serve Kool-Aid when we were kids, and it's a fun, sassy icon. :)

6: ctbn60 made this for me, and it's sweet. Even if Steve plays blustery macho, he usually ends up following Diana's lead! :)

I have such a love for userpics... i'm constantly reorganizing and updating mine or saving new ones to my computer even when I don't have room... XD

Unlike svgurl, I don't know how to copy and paste the actual pictures here, so I'll just list the keywords? XD

1: The chibi style is just so adorable, I had to get this one! :) I love how Bruce lays in wait for Clark in the stocking. :)

2: This is such a hauntingly beautiful icon for Diana. She believes in her Gods and Goddesses while acknowledging their frailties, and I've used this often for solemn stories and comments.

3: I was lucky to find some Silver/Bronze Age Supergirl/Batgirl art on the Web, and I couldn't pass this up! Looks like the girls emulate their mentors in more ways than one. ;)

4: *laughs* This one makes me smile every time. Pink Kryptonie is canon, and, yep, it turns Kryptonians gay temporarily! ;)

5: This icon showcases the intense passion between the Dynamic Duo. I was happy to find a kissing icon with Dick as Robin. :)

6: I definitely have a thing for pix of Bruce carrying Dick when he's hurt, and in the rain? Bonus! :)
