Well, there's the fashion sense scenario where Bruce and Alfred despair of the latest glitter 'n' glitz outfit he brings home, or Dick hurt during a mission with Clark and Bruce, or Wee!Dick brightening the Manor when he's brought home by Bruce, or Dick leading the Titans on a mission that is broadcast on TV so everyone can see and Bruce nearly bursts with pride.

If you're a Bruce/Dick fan, would love to see something with them, but other pairings I like are Dick/Roy and Clark/Dick.

A thing of beauty is a joy forever?

I have to say, after some time on Tumblr, I have a fresh appreciation for how very nicely that boy grew up. :)

I have found a few Bruce/Dick fics that finally worked for me. if Dick's an adult when something actually happens, and if Bruce didn't start having feelings for him like that until he was well into his teens, I can kind of handle it. Not sure I would know where to start with writing anything like that, though.

I do love that idea of Dick leading the Titans on a mission that's being covered on live TV.

I will give it some thought. Something might happen.

That's the way I usually approach it, that Dick is well into his teens or an adult when he and Bruce get together. Though Dick having a crush which grows to love works, too. You know teenage hormones! ;)

That's a great scenario, isn't it? I've always wanted to write that but haven't had time. I love it when Bruce shows pride in Dick, as per his canon quote.

I hope so! Some suggestions for getting out of your slump: just write something every day. A sentence, a paragraph, a short story. It doesn't ever have to be posted; it just keeps priming the pump. Don't worry about the slump and eventually you'll be out of it.

Just write something off the top of your head and don't bother with research or whether it fits this canon or that canon. Polish and post! You'd be surprised how something you dashed off can get way more comments than something you slaved over for weeks.
