Quite a few to review this week! I did miss The Flash due to going out to the movies, so will catch up with that later.



Supergirl 1x11

So, J’onn faced a White Martian? Interesting. The scene in which he tells what happened to his wife and daughters was heartbreaking.

More sisterly bonding. I do like those little scenes. Domestic tranquility scenes always does it for me.

Agent Carter 2x3

The episode moved the plot along, and I liked seeing Howard bring in the ladies to the gentlemen-only club, but on the whole not a memorable episode. Whitney is creepy and I wonder how long it’ll be before someone discovers what’s up with her.

Arrow 4x11

So Felicity is officially Oracle now. What else can they steal from the Bat-mythos?

I did like the Andy Diggle subplot but not sure if I’d trust this guy so completely. I know John wants to, but…

Amanda Waller went out the way she wanted to, I’d bet. She sure wouldn’t have shed a tear over anyone else getting killed.

Legends Of Tomorrow 1x2

Poor Carter! But a character who has been reincarnated dozens of times will be back. Besides, it’s comics. No one stays dead!

Captain Cold doesn’t like one of his crew shot dead. Nice tough guy reason for lamenting Carter’s death. Even Heatwave seemed affected by Kendra’s grief.

Whoa, Professor Stein! He was into the ‘70s vibe in his younger days, wasn’t he? And Sara looked hot in that white fur coat and go-go boots!

Ray, could they make you any dumber? I hope his goofs this early will serve to show how much he learns about being a superhero and by the end of the series, we see a much more savvy, confident Ray Palmer.

Rip, is this crew mucking about with time really a good idea? Once you screw up something and then try to fix it, two other wrongs pop up!

I agree with you about this week's AC. It wasn't a great ep, other than the Howard's return and more of Wilkes storyline. I must admit that all this zero matter stuff is boring. I was kinda interested when I thought that it was the energy from Thor 2. However, this is a element of Steven Strange's verse. So, not interested. But, Wilkes is interesting and seems like there is definite chemistry between he and Peggy.

Tuesday's ep looks better as we get to see more of Thompson's recruitment into what I think is pre-Hydra. At least, I hope so. These guys, especially Red Foreman, seem very sinister. Don't forget the pin Peggy found. It wasn't squid-like but it could be acover symbol. LOL

I like Wilkes, too! He is bright and handsome and a good match for Peggy. :)

Yes, HYDRA is very active during this period! I wonder if Thompson gets recruited without realizing exactly what he's getting into, and then it's too late? He is often a jerk but I never got the sense he was HYDRA material. This could be an interesting subplot.

I'm very much into period pieces at the moment. I just went to see Bridge Of Spies this week and loved it! :)

Did you see the ep last night? If not, watch it. I don't want to give out spoilers but it smacked of Hydra. And, Wilkes is a sweetie. I was worried that they would kill him off, but I don't think so. Now, I just think that this will be it for Peggy and the gang, as the show has had abysmal ratings. :)

TBH Star Wars was the last movie I saw in theatres. And, I watched a horror movie from RedBox over the weekend. LOL I usually don't have the time watch anything more than TV show or read fic. If The Winter Soldier is on STARZ, I'll sit down and watch that. But, I've reached that point in life, I guess. LOL

I did see last night's ep. Very interesting! A shame about the low ratings.

Ticket prices helps me pick my movies more carefully. :)
