Another oddball year. Will they never end?
The top fandom was once again Evil, with a total of 7 stories, 6 starring Kristen, 2 starring Ben, and 1 starring David. One story of the 7 starred all three, so that's why the wonky numbers.
Pairings were pretty much on the low side, with no one really standing out except for Clark/Lois with 4 stories from the Superman & Lois fandom.
This year there were 25 fanfics posted with a word count of 48,815.
Total stories since 2006: 799.
Word count since 2006: 2,083,753.
Wonky tech kept me from my posting schedule for awhile, but I did manage some good numbers. Continuing my trend of the past few years, I did write a nice batch of gen stories.mostly starring the Evil characters, Diana and Lois.

Very good numbers! And a nice variety of works too. :D

Date: 2022-01-05 11:15 pm (UTC)I did manage to write DC and a little Marvel, and tweaked my gen-writing skills. I still love pairings, but after almost 800 stories I'm looking for a fresh angle, ha!
The day we no longer have to wear masks, I'll be dancing in the streets! :)

Date: 2022-01-06 12:01 am (UTC)I keep a mask in my car in case I forget to bring one. Our instincts are still to go maskless!

And it is interesting- I would've thought that it would be more instinctive by now but I still forget. I walked into a Starbucks once without it (it was in my purse) and they didn't bring it up but I was mortified when it suddenly hit me that I wasn't wearing one.

I think people are never going to be happy masked, so we're not adapting easily.
