So, with my first Big Bang sign-up and possibly more on the horizon, I thought I'd toss this question out:
If you were to host a Big Bang, what fandom/pairing/subject would you choose? And even if there is one already out there (Smallville, Supernatural, femslash, BDSM, etc.), if it's something you would like to host, name it!
I host Challenges all the time, but a BB is a bit more work! ;) So, theoretically speaking, I would probably host a Slavefic Big Bang (Yes, I know, there's probably one out there, but this is just me daydreaming, LOL) and would have to decide whether or not to limit it to one fandom, like DC, or make it multi-fandom. Or also include original works. But the theme would carry the word count.
What would be the word count? I'd probably offer 10,000 to start, and maybe up the ante if the first one was successful. Anyway, with all this talk of Big Bangs, I started my What-Ifs? ;)
How about you?

Hmm, I can usually find ideas that are long enough. It's figuring out which girls to use that I'm comfortable with. I could always go write that story I had about Themyscira and Diana's younger life though... *ponders*
*nods* 24/7 fits the definition.
Still a long ways to go. *sigh* But I'll get there yet. :)
Good luck on the writing!

Thanks for the well wishes! I was thinking about the story last night and making some changes in my head. I'm keeping the main plot and theme but there are things that could be done better. Anyway, you'll be able to give you my opinion when it's time to beta! ;)
I should include a food scene, huh? ;)

I'd really love to write about Diana's childhood and all the Amazons. It's been percolating for ages. The only question is which 'verse I'd set it in. Could be the Robin!Lex 'verse where Diana's very old or could be in the Harem 'verse where there are men too, just on a separate island. I'm thinking Robin!Lex 'verse so far, if only because I do love that one and want to get back to it.
And whoot progress! Yes, there should always be a food scene, especially if it includes Clark and Lex feeding each other something and being all seductive and tempting. *g*

Date: 2011-06-09 06:47 pm (UTC)I have to admire you about the 100,000 word BB. I know I can write that amount, but would be majorly stressed to do it on a timetable.
Heh, I'll vote for Diana in Harem 'verse, but you could guess that. ;)
I'll have to consider putting in a food scene. It'll be unwittingly seductive, because this is very early Clex and a Clark's a little too young for major sheanigans, but the yearning and love are there. :)

Date: 2011-06-10 01:52 am (UTC)I've got a fair amount of that total already written, somewhere around 30K I think. It's just that I have about 3/4 of the story left to write yet. *sighs* That's part of why I'm really thinking about that BB.

Hee! Yeah, I can see that. Though if it's focusing on her childhood you're not getting Steve or Hal!

Awwww, that'll be adorable! :D

Date: 2011-06-10 03:19 am (UTC)Well, even as a child, I can imagine how the story in that 'verse would be fascinating. World-building the Amazons is a great exercise, as we know so much about them, and yet, not so much. It's a fertile ground for your own ideas. :)
Just don't have the Amazons attacking Washington or overrunning Europe! ;)
Clex can be very adorable! :)
