Halloween Challenge Check-In!!!

Hi, luvs! I thought it would be cool to do a check-in for the 2011 DCU Fic/Art Halloween Challenge (blame all the Big Bangs I've been doing lately!). Since there are no sign-ups or claims, this is strictly for fun! Options apply to all fanworks, not just stories and art. :)

I've got ideas, but getting anything to take form is a bit of a struggle at the moment. Something will fall into place, though, it always does.

I did have one question. Are we limited to writing only one story for the challenge?

And mmmm Loreena McKennit, isn't she perfect for Halloween?

Nope, you can write as many entries as you want! :)

It's funny, a scene popped into my head last night: Halloween at the Kent farm. Doorbell rings. Clark and Bruce answer, discovering just about the whole Justice League (local kids in costume, of course) + a couple of X-Men on the doorstep shouting, "Trick or Treat!"

Unfortunately that was as far as it went, no context or anything. :( Bummer. I'm hoping something will come to me to help flesh it out a little.

Anyway yay for being able to write more than one story! I have a feeling this multitude of ideas will eventually result in two or three fics at least.

My favorite of Loreena's for Halloween is "All Soul's Night," from The Visit.

That's adorable! Have you considered just writing it as a slice-of-life, fluffy piece? :)

I usually end up with at least two stories per year. My smallvillebbang is the major piece, but I just got a plot bunny last night that I may work on. :)

I thought about checking "I've already handed out all the candy..." but I can't say for sure that I won't write any more. The bunnies keep sneaking up on me, especially since I'm hosting a Halloween theme week over at Fic_Promptly on DW and I have to come up with prompts for it. You are directly responsible for the Steve/Diana fic with all of your talking about pumpkin flavored goodies. I was ambushed by Pumpkin!Bunnies and held hostage until I wrote their fic.
